Animal-assisted support

Animal-assisted therapy refers to interventions in which the targeted use of an animal can have a positive effect on people suffering from both mental and physical illnesses. Llamas are animals whose calm and unhurried nature can have a soothing and balancing effect on people. They are excellent at striking a balance between closeness and distance, whilst remaining curious and people-oriented.
Animal-assisted therapy is only carried out in collaboration with a professional organisation and specialist staff.

Animal-assisted interaction

Animal-assisted interaction is an animal-assisted support programme with a structured daily routine, tailored to the individual needs of each participant. It involves guided activities with and centred on animals, in natural surroundings and within a group setting.

I’m doing something meaningful, which feels good. The afternoon on the farm is the only time when I can move about freely outdoors without any assistance and without my bike – just on foot.’
