About us

The de Vet family

At the start of 2026, we took over Daniela Tschaggelar’s farm.
We are Fiona and Nico de Vet, with our two children, Ronja and Ivan – a family with international roots and a great passion for farming.
Fiona grew up on a ranch in the Chilcotin region of British Columbia (Canada). Nico is from the Wiesental valley in Germany, where he helped out on the farm from a very young age. In 2010, he moved permanently to Canada, where we ran several ranches together and started our family. Today, our two children are also part of our adventure:
 Ronja (12), who loves animals with great enthusiasm and helps out wherever she can, and Ivan (9), who joins in with plenty of energy and curiosity. Despite many fulfilling years in Canada, the desire to return to Switzerland one day always remained alive. The fact that this dream has now become a reality fills us with great joy.
With the Obere Klus, a new chapter in our lives is beginning.

Kluser Lamas

The «Kluser Lamas» was founded in 2005 by Daniela Tschaggelar with four animals. The herd has since grown to 25 llamas and alpacas. From the very beginning, Kluser Lamas has focused on animal-assisted therapy and interaction. Right from the start, we wanted to offer these encounters with llamas and alpacas – whether for therapeutic purposes or simply for interaction – to a wide variety of people. We firmly believe that encounters with alpacas and llamas can be an enriching experience for everyone, young and old alike.

Our range is constantly being expanded and adapted. For the benefit of people and animals.
